Laughlin

So on Thursday afternoon Kenny came home and decided that we were going to the river.. We needed to get away.. We told Makenzie & she was stoked. Se was packed up & ready to go before we even started getting our stuff together. The first time Makenzie went to the river & on th boat was when she was 3 months old.. Since then she has been to the river and on the boat every single summer.. At least 4 times every summer.. Makenzie is a fish & loves the water.. So we packed up & got on the freeway at about 4:15 thursday afternoon and got to laughlin at about 9pm.. Not to bad at all.. So Kenny's parents were at the river all week & they already had a room with an extra bed so we just stayed with them.. Kenny, Kenzie & I all slept on a queen size bed. Let me tell you that was a night of hardly any sleep at all.. Oh well.. So we got up bright & early friday morning so we could take the boat out and play on the river all day.. We had blast on the water.. We ended up having to go home friday night cause Makenzie had cheer practice saturday morning & she didnt want to miss it cause she has competition again in about 3 weeks and this is crunch time for them to practice. So we got home at about 11:45 friday night..I have to say it was SO WORTH IT!!

Meet our pets

So im been extremely bored at work & to keep me from falling asleep im gonna do a post.. LMAO

So this is meet our pets :)

ROXY

she is almost 2.. She is a Jack Russel/Terrier mix
Roxy loves Makenzie.. She will sit at the door and wine if Makenzie goes outside to play with out her. Roxy does love Kenny & I too but she is more attached to Makenzie LOL

Our Red Earded Slider Turtles
Makenzie got them for her 8th Bday.. They were the size of a quarter when we got them and now they are huge as you can see.. We have them in a 55 gallon aquarium.. They eat turtle pellets and romaine lettuce & they also eat feeder goldfish (its nasty & kenzie and I leave the room when they start chasing the little fishies cause they end up getting them sooner or later) The turtles end up eating about 10 small goldfish a day.. They are pigs!!





This is the holder tank... We buy the goldfish for the turtles to eat (but then we end up liking some of them and end up keeping some) but the small ones are the turtle food :(



Then we have these 2 little guys.. Makenzie had to have them cause we though that the one crab was a special needs crab(1 had a really big claw and the other claw is normal).. So we bought 2.. Well come to find out the males and 1 big claw and 1 normal size one.. So we have a female & a male.. Makenzie named then but honestly I don't remember there names (shhh don't tell her)
They are pretty cool to watch craw around and watch them eat there pellets.

Happy Birthday Dad !!

Well today is my dads bday.. I just though I would write a blog and tell him Happy Bday !! I am so lucky to have such great dad..

Happy Birthday Dad.. I hope you have a great 54th bday... Ill see ya in an hour.. Were having a suprise dinner for him at my dad and step mom's house and he has no idea... Were so good at keeping secrets... (well i have kinda been avoiding him so he dosent find out about the dinner and I have done great so far !! LMAO)

Next year were have having a big party... come on you only turn the double nickle once in your life LOL :)

How we meet

So this post is going to let you know how we meet..

So December 27, 2006 my mom and aunt always go out to the desert for New Years and Easter and a bunch of different days... anyways my mom asks me what I was going to do for New Years and I usually go to a BBQ with Makenzie at a family or friends house but this year I decided I wanted to do something different. So I decided to go with my mom and her fiance (Makenzie was with me too.. I never leave any where with out her) to the desert (Ocotillo Wells ).. I hadn't been there in at least 8 years or more..
So we went and got there and we set up camp and all that fun stuff.. Well when they go they have a huge group of people that go.. There are about 15-20 motor homes and RVs that go and everyone caps in this big circle.. So there were alot of people I didn't know but I meet most of them and everyone turned out to be pretty cool..
Now to new years eve... Everyone brings out there Xmas trees that are all dead and they all throw them on to the fire... Let me tell ya they stack them probably 8 or 9 on at a time.. It was so hot we had to stay so far back.. It was crazy and I though forsure we the rangers were gonna come down and say something.. but nope no one never did.. So new years eve a bunch of people were up and drinking and sitting at the fire and talking and as time went by people kept leaving and going to bed... So finally Kenny & I were the last ones there.. All by our self's under the beautiful sky with millions of stars.. We started talking an ended up staying up all night and never went to bed.. Except when my mom got up I went and took a little nap.. I was so tired but excited about meeting this new guy...

Of course the rest of the time we were there Kenny was trying to impress me and kept asking me if I wanted to go for a ride in the Sand Rail or asked if I wanted to take a walk.. SO ever since that trip to Ocotillo Wells we have been dating and the rest is history...

We still go to Ocotillo Wells and we love it.. It reminds us of where we first meet...

I also have to say that Kenny is a GREAT guy and he treats Makenzie & I like we are Queens... Makenzie loves Kenny to death... I think it great they have such a great relationship....

Welcome to our blog... Well we set this up so all of our family & friends could keep up with our busy life.. Well actually I cant take the credit.. All the credit for setting this up has to go to my sista Katie.. I was way beyond frustrated and gave up and then along comes Katie to save the day.. Thank you so much sista...
